Sanjay J. Dhoble is professor in the Department of Physics, R.T.M. Nagpur University, Nagpur, India. He obtained his MSc in physics from Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur, India, in 1988 and his PhD in solid state physics from Nagpur University in 1992. He received the Fellow of Luminescence Society of India award in 2017 and is a lifetime member of numerous scientific organizations, such as the Luminescence Society of India, the Society for Materials Chemistry, the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM), the Nuclear Track Society of India, and the Indian Science Congress Association. He has published 613 papers in reputed journals and has received best research paper awards for 39 papers. Prof. Dhoble has a teaching experience of 26 years and has served as principal of a college for five years. His research interests include the synthesis and characterization of solid state lighting materials, electron vibrational interaction (EVI) parameters, and the development of radiation dosimetry phosphors using thermoluminescence techniques.
B. Deva Prasad Raju is professor of physics and head of the department, University Science Instrumentation Centre (USIC), Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, India, and joint director of the Directorate of Admissions, Sri Venkateswara University. He obtained his BSc in mathematics, physics, and chemistry from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, India, in 1993 and his MSc in physics, MTech in energy management, and PhD in physics from Sri Venkateswara University in 1995, 1998, and 2005, respectively. From 1998 to 2007, he taught physics to undergraduate students in various government degree colleges, and since 2007, he is teaching physics and instrumentation to postgraduate students at Sri Venkateswara University. Prof. Raju has coauthored around 70 papers in reputed journals and 3 book chapters. In 2012, he received the Young Scientist award from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. He is associate editor and reviewer of numerous journals and a lifetime member of the Indian Science Congress Association and the Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society.
