Farkhad Aliev
Farkhad G. Aliev is a professor of condensed matter physics at the Faculty of Science, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), Spain. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on mathematics and physics and leads the MAGNETRANS group at UAM, which focuses on the experimental studies of noise and magnetization dynamics in magnetic nanostructures. His research interests also include vortex dynamics in superconductors and lateral photovoltaic effect in ferromagnet/semiconductor patterned structures. Prof. Aliev is co-author of more than 150 publications referenced in ISI-WEB and 4 patents and co-editor of a textbook. He has directed 11 PhD theses, has been the publication editor of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials (MMM2016) conference proceedings and is on the editorial board of Scientific Reports.
