Hongyu Yu

Hongyu Yu is with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, South University of Science and Technology of China, since 2011. He received his BEng from Tsinghua University, MASc from the University of Toronto, and PhD from the National University of Singapore. From 2008 to 2011, he was with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and from 2004 to 2008, he was with IMEC, Leuven, Belgium. His major research interests cover multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) technology, GaN power devices, and their commercialization. Prof. Yu is an IET Fellow. He has authored or coauthored more than 300 publications in international journals and conferences, with an H-index of 31. He has given talks in more than 50 international conferences and written 4 book chapters. He also holds more than 20 US/EU patents.
