Jean-Louis Coutaz

Jean-Louis Coutaz is a professor of physics at the University Savoie Mont Blanc, Chambéry, France, and the deputy director of the Institute of Microelectronics, Electromagnetism and Photonics, and the Laboratory of Microwaves and Characterization (IMEP-LaHC), where he has been leading research activities in THz-TDS, electro-optic sampling, and ultrafast semiconductors since 1994. Prior to this, he was a researcher at the French CNRS, where his research focused on nonlinear optics at surfaces.
