
Joulia Larionova
Joulia Larionova is professor at the University of Montpellier and since 2009 directs research activities at the Institut Charles Gerhardt Montpellier. An engineer in radiochemistry and nuclear physics, she defended her thesis at the University of Bordeaux I in 1998 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Switzerland at the Universities of Bern and Lausanne. Dr. Larionova’s research is focused on the development and characterization of nanomaterials and study of their magnetic and optical properties with applications in the areas of biomedical imaging and decontamination.
