Juan Pedro Cascales
Juan Pedro Cascales is a postdoctoral researcher in the Francis Bitter Magnet Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA. He obtained his PhD in condensed matter physics and nanotechnology from UAM in 2015 under the supervision of Prof. Farkhad Aliev. His research centers around the investigation of the fundamental aspects of electron transport in various types of spintronic devices, combining magnetic, topological insulator, organic and/or superconducting materials by thin-film evaporation and the study of conductance and voltage fluctuations (or noise) at cryogenic temperatures. He has co-authored 15 publications that are referenced in ISI-WEB and 1 patent.
