M. S. Michael
M. S. Michael is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry, SSN College of Engineering, Anna University, India. She received her PhD in 1996 in the field of corrosion from Madurai Kamaraj University, India. She also worked as a research fellow in Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI), a premier national laboratory in India. She then continued her post-doctoral fellowship at the Universiti Malaya, Multimedia University, Malaysia, and Université Pierre et Marie Curie, France, developing lithium-ion batteries. Dr. Michael has published more than 40 international peer-reviewed journal articles and has a few international patents to her credit. She has served on advisory boards and delivered invited talks in international conferences. Her expertise includes corrosion aspects of intermetallic alloys, hybrid supercapacitors, nanomaterials, lithium batteries, and Li–air batteries.
