Oliver Benson
Oliver Benson did his PhD at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. He worked as postdoc at Max-Planck-Institute for Quantum Optics, Garching, as Lynen-fellow (Alexander-von Humboldt Foundation) at Stanford University, USA, and as head of a junior research group (Emmy-Noether program of DFG) at the Universität Konstanz. Since 2001 he heads the Nano Optics group at Humboldt-Universität Berlin. His main research concerns quantum optics, single photon optics, and quantum information as well as scanning probe techniques.
