
Ru-Shi Liu
Ru-Shi Liu received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Soochow University (Taiwan) in 1981, master’s degree in nuclear science from National Tsing Hua University (Taiwan) in 1983, and two doctorates in chemistry from National Tsing Hua University in 1990 and the University of Cambridge in 1992. He worked at Materials Research Laboratories at Industrial Technology Research Institute, Taiwan, from 1983 to 1985. In 1995, he joined National Taiwan University, where he is currently a professor in the Department of Chemistry. Prof. Liu received the ninth Y. Z. Hsu Scientific Paper Award for excellent research on energy saving. His research is concerned with materials chemistry. He is the author or coauthor of more than 400 publications in international scientific journals and has also been granted more than 80 patents.
