Nikos Tagmatarchis

Nikos Tagmatarchis is a senior researcher at the Theoretical and Physical Chemistry Institute (TPCI) of the National Hellenic Research Foundation (NHRF) in Athens, Greece, since 2006. He got his bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 1992 and PhD in synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry in 1997 from the University of Crete, Greece. He has published more than 140 research papers in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and refereed conference proceedings, and his work has been cited more than 2300 times. Dr. Tagmatarchis was the organizer and chairman of the International Conference on Carbon Nanostructured Materials (Cnano ’09), held in Santorini, Greece, in October 2009.
